STUDENT/PARENT ATHLETIC REGISTRATION
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome. Below are requirements for participating in the Butler Athletics Program. All requirements must be complete by the registration deadline shown at the top of this page in order to tryout or participate.
GENERAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Prior to any student participating in Practices, Inter-School Practices, Scrimmages, and/or Contests at any sport/team in the Butler Athletic Program, the legal parent(s)/guardian(s) of the student-athlete is required to complete the following:
- REGISTER ONLINE – students.arbitersports.com **Please note that we previously used ArbiterSports (FamilyID) as our online student registration platform a few years ago. If you had an account with them, you should be able to log in with your old account information. If not, click “For Parents/Guardians: Create Registration Account” on the Arbiter site.
- PHYSICAL FORMS – The Health History form (Section 5) needs completed in its entirety and provided to the Authorized Medical Examiner performing the student-athlete’s physical for review. The Physical Evaluation form (Section 6) is to be completed, signed and dated by the Authorized Medical Examiner (AME) performing the student-athlete’s physical. *Please note that the physical must be performed and dated on or after MAY 1, 2026 (for the 2026-2027 school year) and is effective until the latter of the next April 30th or the conclusion of the Spring sports season. - PAYMENT OF ATHLETIC FEE – One $85.00 payment per athlete per school year. You may make payment online when completing the online registration, or mail in/hand in directly to the Athletic Office. Mailing address: Butler Senior High School Attn: Athletic Office, 120 Campus Lane, Butler, PA 16001. - ImPACT TEST – All student-athletes participating in a contact sport must have a valid ImPACT test on file with the Athletic Trainer’s office prior to the first official practice or tryout. ImPACT Tests are valid for a period of two years. NO ATHLETE PARTICIPATING IN A CONTACT SPORT WILL BE PERMITTED TO TRYOUT OR PRACTICE UNLESS THIS IS COMPLETE. - START DATES, TIMES & LOCATIONS– The start dates, times and locations listed on this page is the first MANDATORY tryout/start date for all respective sports. Click HERE to be redirected to that page.
